Hey everyone,

Well the new version of this site is only a month and a half old, but already I feel the call back to the old colours.  And apparently many of you would prefer the old style.  I am trying to figure out a way to have the schemes as options for users but I'm not sure if that's possible.  I have a site scheme in mind, ready made that I'm thinking of buying so all I'll have to do is make a new logo.  We'll see.  Right now everything in StormNation's coffers goes towards hosting so I'm not sure I want to spend any on a site skin necessarily. 

I'm still rewriting Empires.  And it has become a rewrite.  It started as an edit but has become a full blown rewrite.  Much has been rewritten and currently the first chapter is at 32 pages from 27, but I'm not even halfway through the rewrite.  A lot of awkward things have been edited, including CAPS LOCK SHOUTING which was a very juvenile technique that I used almost ten years ago.  As well as repeated !!!  It's nice to know I've learned a few tricks in ten years haha.  I did the same thing for Storm Front, which ended up making the first season almost entirely rewritten and expanded, but I won't be posting that on the site.  I'm hoping I can turn it into a manuscript or something that I can publish within the next year, even via iUniverse.  So to everyone who supports the site, besides helping the site costs every month, you'll also be helping me pay to get the rewritten Season 1 of SF published. 

I love Doctor Who. Doctor Who and BattleStar Galactica.  I also saw Bridge to Terebithia and absolutely loved it.  The casting of Leslie was spot on.  Storm Front is back in my mind now after taking a little break to recharge my cylinders, but the next chapter of SF won't be out until after Empires relaunches on the site.  I may repost some of the What Ifs though.  Feel free to write a What If of your own!  I'd love to see them.

Also, for any budding writer, I have a challenge.  If you could pick one moment of Storm Front to expand upon and write any one scene you like, what would it be?  The best idea for a scene, anywhere in Storm Front, or even a prose for a chapter, will be considered as a guest writer for a one off scene or chapter that will become SF canon.  So it will either be an inserted scene or an Interlude, NOT a What If?  Provided it doesn't change anything that would alter canon, but complement it, you can go anywhere in the timeline.  I may post more detailed conditions in the forums.  I just thought that with Storm Front winding down, it would be an interesting way to let the most dedicated fan leave their mark in the story and know that it's canon and part of the story proper.
