What's new?

Well I've been working on Empires mostly.  Rewriting it and getting it ready to relaunch on this site.  Storm Front is on hold while I do this.  The next chapter buggered me into submission.  It's Storm's fault.  I think I have settled on how to handle it, but I've been distracted by Empires with the free time I have to work on the site. 

The Hot Debates are still just that, hot.  I've asked BP to add the next Hot Debate and open it with his views.  The Hot Zone can be used for anything else, but the Hot Debates should be left to me or someone I ask so we can keep the flow moderated and consistent.

I watched a report on the news today about a giant pedophile ring that was broken today.  Thank fucking goodness for that.  It's one thing that always makes me cry.  This is nothing new.  Children being hurt.  It just cuts me up.  This ring was particularly nasty.  Booking appointments in their inner circle to rape children as a coupe months old.  WTF!?!  WHAT THE FUCK!?  Absolutely  evil.  I wouldn't lose any sleep if these sick fuckers met a grisly end.  But I'm sure some fuckers out there would care more about these guys feelings than the children they've raped of their innocence.  Absolute evil.  Bravo to the folk who brought down that ring.

On a freakier note, I read about a case of a man with Cardiomyopathy, who was injected with his own adult stem cells into his heart muscle.  He had 15% pump functionality in his left ventricle and about six months after the operation [in Thailand because it's still not available where he lived] he was taken off the transplant list.  That's incredible stuff.  It's going to be amazing to see the advancement of this in the next few years. 

Fantastic Four 2 is out now.  Has anyone seen it yet?  I hated the first one but I love comic book movies so I'll see the next one.  The one I really can't wait for though is Transformers.  That's going to rock hard.  I loved that cartoon in the 90s whe reruns used to play before intermediate.  And when I watched the movie in 93-94 way after it came out in the movies, I cried when Optimus died lol.  They better not do that in this movie!  I love Optimus  He's old school awesome leader.
